Somcable's future is not looking good in Somaliland

Somcable's future is not looking good in Somaliland

Somcable's future in Somaliland is bleak, and for good reason.

This isn't mere speculation; it's a stark reality we must confront head-on.

It is an open secret, practically shouted from the rooftops, that SOMCABLE, one of our largest telecom firms, is owned by Djibouti President, Ismail Omar Guelleh and his family - not by Mohamed Said Guedi (local Somalilander businessman).

Despite desperate attempts to mask the truth, this entity is widely understood to be nothing more than a front for the Guelleh family.

And what is their true, evil purpose?

It's not just about providing service.

SOMCABLE isn't just a telecom company, it's a Chinese-backed spy operation.

This company is shamelessly monitoring its own Somaliland customers, a shocking violation of privacy, a direct attack on our national security, and an unforgivable act of betrayal against our people.

This is a clear and present danger to Somaliland's sovereignty and stability.

We cannot, and will not, tolerate a foreign entity, controlled by a hostile regime, operating within our borders and compromising the safety and privacy of our citizens.

Somalilanders, this is your moment.

You must rise up and demand immediate action.

It is imperative that we, the people, ensure that Somcable's license to operate in Somaliland is revoked. This is not just a business decision; it is a national security imperative.

Demand accountability.

Demand action.

Demand Somcable's expulsion now.
